Hey ladies!
I know getting bridesmaid gifts is a personal and subjective thing and should be based on your girls, and that is exactly what I have done! lol I haven't gotten anything yet, but I think I have figured out what I want to get. A lot of the stuff is from Etsy -- love that website!
I just wanted your opinions/to share my really cool finds! I have 7 girls in all, including MOH.
1) Monika (MOH) - loves to travel, also majored in theatre in university and loves to write plays -- Am going to be getting her a hand stamped leather bound journal cover with the words "not all who wander are lost" on it. It comes with a journal, but is just a cover, so once the original journal is full, a new one can be inserted.
2) Theresa - Loves ANYTHING zombie lol -- am going to get her an "I
zombie" wristlet/clutch. The "<3" is a cartoon (but realistic) human heart. I know it sounds odd, but it is something she is completely going to love. I am also going to get her a couple of zombie/left for dead button/pins.
3) Sara - Loves Harry Potter - going to get her a snitch necklace that opens and says "I open at the close" on the inside. It also has a black swarovski crystal dangly charm to ** SPOILER IF YOU HAVEN'T FINISHED HARRY POTTER YET** represent the resurrection stone.
4) Danielle - Loves video games, favourite is Super Mario - I have three choices for this gift, because I am not sure which one would be best.. but I have tons of time to decide. - 1st is a piranha plant knitted scarf. It's really cute! 2nd is a desk set that includes 4 push pins in the shape of mario enemies, and a set of 10 paper clips that also have emblems on them of mario characters (I really like this idea, because she is starting university a week or two before my wedding). 3rd is a mario clutch/wristlet and a pair of chain chomp emeny earrings.
5) Erin - Loves inspirational quotes/jewelry - I will be getting her a hand stamped pendant necklace with the saying "write your worries in sand... carve your blessings in stone" and it will have a blue swarovski crystal dangle attached (because that is her favourite colour).
6) Alexa - Loves manicures/pedicures - I am getting her a gift card to a great manicure bar in Toronto. Has all kinds of funky manicures like lavender, lemon, peppermint. Sounds like something she would really enjoy.
7) Sephanie - Loves shopping for clothing and is TINY - size 0 and often has to wear childrens sizes - So I am getting her a gift card to her favourite clothing store so she can get whatever she pleases. No way I'm risking buying a top or pants that won't fit her.
So yea! Thats (most likely) what I'll be getting my girls. All of it is on a budget of $30 - $35ish each.
