First Fitting Jitters!

My first dress fitting is coming up and I'm getting very nervous! I'm afraid my dress will be a little too snug and they won't be able to let it out at all I have no idea what kind of undergarments to buy or what will work best for me. I just want my dress to fit comfortably and I'm worried that they won't be able to alter the dress the way I'd like. Has anyone else felt this way too or can relate to me? Am I just overthinking too much?

I suggest SPANX the super higher power ones!  (pink box found at lane bryant stores)...I was worried too about my dress not fitting!  but I got there and it was fine   The bust just needed to be taken in   I had a corset, so that normally gives some more le-way on sizing..

I totally know how you feel! I was so nervous about my dress fitting but it has all worked out. It was a little snug and they had 2 inches on each side they could let out. Plus, my dress has a zipper back and in a tight situation they can take out the zipper and turn it into a lace-up back. A lace-up back gives you more freedom with weight fluxuation.

There is room to take your dress out a bit... relax and drink lots of water!!!!   if your dress is not a corset back, you may want to leave it a bit snug anyways.  I found that my dress stretched a little throughout the night.  Good Luck!!!
