So my parents are divorced and remarried, FI's parents are divorced and his dad is remarried. His family will be paying for the rehearsal dinner and a few other things. My mom and stepdad have paid for the ceremony and my dress. My dad has been paying for the reception and then FI and I have paid for things like little details. So my question is how should we word the invites?
Where my concern is that while I want to put "Together with their parents" on the invites my parents think since they have been divorced so long that people may not know who it is since most of my mom and stepdads family don't realize my last name is the same as my dads and not my stepdads. If I put my parents name I feel I should include FI's parents name. But that is A LOT of names and doesn't leave much room.
SO what is your opinion? Any advice is good advice at this point. I have looked at several templates but I can't decide and I don't want to offend anyone.
