Fun Fact: This old italian lady comes in and makes their pasta from scratch....its awesome!!

definitely our unity sand ceremony set......instead of blowing a ton of money on a kit, i bought the stuff seperately and having it engraved with a monogram with me and FI initials that i made myself....very cool!

Is your FI a champ wedding planner, or the 'whatever you say' type?:
My FI is a champ without a doubt......he wants to be in the know of every aspect of this wedding, he hates being out of the loop on any detail of it.....such a cutie patootie!

What kind of event are you planning?: (Daytime, evening, casual, formal, destination?)   Day time and hopefully it will come off as semi-formal!

What are your colors?:   Purple, Teal, Green and pink
Are you having a theme? What is it?:  So our invites have peacocks on them, and the colors are based off of that, then FI chose a cake designed like a birch tree.  Now I would call or design a peacock in a birch forest.

Have you chosen a venue? Share a fun fact about your Venue!: Yes, we have a venue,  We ended up putting the deposit down exactly one year before the wedding.  Fun fact:  I went there for award ceremonies during high school.
For the ceremony we are getting married at my church.

My favorite item so far might be my rhinestone and pearl ribbon headband, or my vases, which are wrapped in birch bark. Chose them to tie in the birch cake.

Is your FI a champ wedding planner, or the 'whatever you say' type?: He is actually rather difficult. He fell in love with the birch design cake, so I had to incorporate that into the rest of our plans. He decided he wanted the bridesmaid dresses to be purple instead of green, and just yesterday he was complaining about his mother's guest list, which we have had for 6 months now.

My Something blue is my blue sapphire engagement ring.
For old, new and borrowed I'm trying to come up with a little saying incorporating a Tree Farm patch, since my dad has passed and running the tree farm was a big part of his like. (Think patch like name tag you would sew onto a shirt or boy scout patch.)I am having the patch put on the ribbon of my bouquet and in the program having something like "we borrow from the environment to create new things but we should remember the old things from which they came. "

What are your colors?: Blue and Green.

Are you having a theme? What is it?: Sort of... nature-y

Have you chosen a venue? Share a fun fact about your Venue!: I LOVE my venue.  I picked it because of the catering prices, room layout and over look, and the patio overlooking a river.  Mostly the patio won me over so we are having the ceremony outside on the patio.

Have you chosen your dress? What's it like?: I have.  It's a Brides by demetrios dress that has lace cap sleeves, a sweetheart neckline with beading by my boobs, rushing around my stomach area, and then tulle with lace detailing around the skirt and the bottom.

What's your favorite thing you've picked so far?: My outfit.  I LOVE my dress and shoes,

Is your FI a champ wedding planner, or the 'whatever you say' type?: He's amazing.  He has given helpful input on every detail except for what I'm wearing.  He's even helping with some DIY.

Same with me. If he had definite opinions, then we could work on compromise. If he really didn't care, then I could just do whatever I want. But noooooooooooooooo, I ask for his opinion, he says "I don't care", then I pick the one I want, then he accuses me of not asking for his opinion.
