One of my last WR checks!

Got the last of the Thank Yous out yesterday!! Man, I thought the invites were a pain! But, thank you notes, you actually have to hand write! Ugh.The last of our WR things are to get my dress cleaned, print out the pics/enlargements we want, and make the photo books for our parents & us. We'll see how long those take!I'm thinking I'm not so much in wedding withdrawal anymore. I think I've moved on to longing for a house & baby (esp a baby, but that probably won't be for quite a while, which makes me really really sad).

Yay for the Thank You's being done!  That's definately the worst part of weddings.

Good check!  I'm trying to get shower thank you's out this week.  I've got 3 of 36 done.  Not making much progress yet...Good luck with the rest!

That's awesome!  I still have a few to resend because apparently I didn't get the address correct and they came back.  I still have all the other post-wedding things to do as you.

Yay, I bet that is a nice weight off your shoulders! I don't think I'll ever be done w/ WR stuff, haha! I too still have to get my dress cleaned (well, actually my parents are taking it), post my pro pics on here and pick out ones I want for the album, get the videographer pics for the photo montage (DH has like no pics, so this should be fun), and make a bridal shower/wedding/HM scrapbook. But I think that will be a fall/winter project. :-)

Thank yous definitely equaled ARGH for me. It is hard to write thoughtful things so many times. Congrats on getting that done!! Why the wait so long for a wee one?

Thanks, ladies! Glad I'm not the only one waiting on this stuff! And Kim, I forgot...I was hoping to do a HM scrapbook, too. And that should be super-fun since I've never done a scrapbook before! LOL Molly, DH wants to get a house first, and we are absolutely in no financial shape to do that (I thought we could swing it, but I really don't think we can unless we get the deal of all time). Basically, right now the order of things goes like this: pay off cc and ideally car (will need to get 2nd job), save for house, buy house, TTC, hopefully have a baby. At the rate we're going, it'll be 2-3 years before the baby happens and it makes me want to cry because I want a baby so badly it hurts! Hmm, how did this end up being a confession post?!

Thats a great check! I'm wondering if I can just pay someone a large chunk of change to write mine for me. I'd consider it money well spent!

I didn't mean to bring out a confession, girl. :P  But I was just curious. We are in the SAME spot.  I totally empathize. We both need to win the lottery so that the house and debt things can go away and we can get to baby-makin'!

LOL, the lottery would be awesome, but I don't play it, so that could be the hiccup in my plan. :-) I've actually thought about all possible ways to get money, such as going on a game show, doing odd jobs, etc., just because I don't really want to go back to working 60 hours/week anymore. It sucks big-time and I was always sick then.

If you need a partner, I'd volunteer for the Amazing Race.  With my directional skills, chances are slim that we'd win though.Do you have any elderly people in your neighborhood with no heirs?  You could start getting their mail for them.

Yay for getting the thank you's done!I got that done and my dress cleaned right away (since I was moving and needed to get it dropped off right away), but yeah, we've been married 5 months and I don't have my pics framed.I hung the frames, but never developed the photos yet! I also never made my scrapbook, album, parent albums, honeymoon photo book, etc. Where does the time go? :)

Haha, Candice!! We actually do have a lady down the street who may or may not have money and she isn't doing so well. But she's lived there forever and has 3 other neighbors looking after her. Guess they beat me to it! (That is meant as a joke and not to offend, I swear!)I don't think I could ever do the Amazing Race. I was thinking more like Wheel of Fortune or something. I suck at physical challenges and I can't swim & am afraid of heights, so that rules out many game shows! LOL

Wheel of Fortune sounds like a great idea!  They do come into town every so often for try-outs.  My aunt went, but she wasn't perky enough.  If I think of any other get-rich-quick schemes, I'll let you know!

Note to self: If trying out for Wheel of Fortune, be as perky as possible! Molly, I actually don't like The Price is Right! I know, such blasphemy, right? LOL My hated roomie my freshman year of college watched it every day and since I didn't like her, I didn't like anything she did or had.

I have good memories of TPIR from college, so I like it for that reason. I understand memory associations. I do that all of the time with songs, movies, etc.  I'm down with Wheel of Fortune. Love it!
