Bridal Gowns Shop Alternatives.

Hello Ladies! What are some good places online and in store to shop for plus size wedding gowns besides bridal shops like David's and other commerical shops? I like some of the David's gowns but I am wanting to see something different and not your standard stuff. Any ideas?

Have you considered designing a dress and having it made? That's what I'm planing.

I see you're from Detroit. You could try Bombshell Bridal in St. Clair Shores. They have some great plus-sized dresses to choose from.

I second Bombshell Bridal Boutique - they had a wide array of dresses and it was the first shop I went to that I could try on every single dress I wanted to AND they even had a ton that fit my criteria (which every other shop I went to they only had one or two that were similar to what I was looking for).

The owners are really awesome and will work with you in whatever capacity you're looking for. She encouraged me to try a couple of dresses I didn't initially dig, and while they weren't "the one" I was glad I got to see them on me because then I KNEW I didn't want to look at anything else like it.
