Theme/Colors

What are your colors and or theme for your wedding? What inspired your decision?

Our colors are espresso, pistachio and will be accented with fuschia. Our theme will be coffee inspired, "The Perfect Blend". We both ADORE coffee, so it's only right that we pick a theme that is as fun as we are. So we will be going the exotic route for our big day!

Well, my theme/colors are fall colors. Some reds, yellows, oranges, and maybe some greens thrown in there just for decoration. We're getting married next October, and the leaves in MI are changing into these colors, and it's always beautiful.

My colors are purple and green. Not sure what inspired it, just because it's pretty? I wanted something summery and bright... it took awhile for FI to get used to the idea though, but I think now that its a sure thing he's come around.

Gold, cream, blush, and fig.  We wanted something that would work with gold because gold is all over the venue.

we are doing horizon blue, sunflower yellow, and white. Just because it reminds us of summertime flowers. We are also doing a photo theme, where we are setting up pictures from our childhood and relationship all around the reception (instead of having a photo album)

Our colors are yellow and green  (because that reminds me of summer, all lemon and lime, y'know?) with touches of red throughout for luck- a nod to my Chinese heritage. As far as themes go, it's going to be rustic and natural, with lots of birch and dried flowers and milk bottle vases- we met at camp so we're kind of earthy and low-maintenance and want our wedding to reflect that.

Our colors are blue, green and purple.  They were inspired by a necklace that belonged to my grandmother.  It's called Aurora Borealis.  My mom had it split up into smaller necklaces for myself, my sister and my two sisters-in-law, as well as herself.  I am wearing my mom's necklace, and she is wearing mine.  It's my something borrowed and my something old.  I've attached pics of the original one, as well as Mom's.

Our theme is butterflies.  Because I love them!!  I wanted to release butterflies, too, until I realized how expensive that would be!!

My colors are Black, White/Ivory & Red. We're doing a 1920's theme and those colors fit well with that. Plus I love how bold and vibrant it looks.

Our colors are Teal, blue, silver, white, and hints of black here and there. It's all blending really well together, and the varying colors make life easier when making a candy buffet in the wedding colors...lol

We are going with Damask and Yellow... I went to the florist this weekend so i have a pic from her demo set up - there is a lot going on since we were picking and changing things so the table top is sort of cluttered... She ordered the linens for me and we are playing around with the using bows as napkin rings...

Um....WOW!!  That is GORGeous!!  And if it helps, I love the idea of bows for napkin rings.

If you look at Michael's or Hobby Lobby, they usually have ribbon like that for about 50cents/spool......just FYI

Seriously, Pinks.. lite pink to hot pink.. Cause I love pink and My bridesmaids look good in it! With accents of Fluer De Lis and kinda vintagey...

We are doing pink and brown and white.  I love brown (weird color favorite? Maybe.).  My first choice was orange and brown, but I couldn't find anything that was the color orange that I wanted that would be the same color throughout.

He wanted red and white (IH colors).  I was ok with it but when I started looking for things to decorate with, it just became so repetitive that I needed to change it up a little.
