floor length cap sleeves BM dress have you seen one?

I am having a small wedding party – just one attendant each… my sister in law is going to be my MOH. Now that I got my dress it is time for hers – she is 5-3 and about a size 8/10 and the best thing is being just her is I only need one dress and we can buy off the rack- so that is not a problem the issue we are finding is that the dresses don’t seem to be in our age range we are both 36- every thing we find is either really young or matronly… plus she wants some sort of cap sleeves, I want floor length so she look more special then just another guest that is holding flowers – 10yrs ago for her wedding this was not hard to find now everything seem to be strapless and we would need to add a wrap or jacket… have you run across any BM dresses  that might work for us?

A lot of places will add cap sleeves in alterations if you want them. I know David's Bridal does, you just have to ask.

I agree with PP. Getting it altered would be easier than finding one already done. I think that will be your best option.

My daughter just ordered an extra yard of material and had cap sleeves added.  I had a dress shortened and used the extra material to make straps to cover a bra.

I got my dress form AA - we tried on the 2nd one you linked - but she was not happy... the first one i don't think they had @ the store when we went... it did not help that my brother her husband had a comment that she came out in a potage sack and the appointment went down hill from there - Thank you
Also she is so short we could use the extra fabric from the hemming - just don't want it too look like an add on

I first read this as a cap sleeve that goes to the floor and thought it's not really a cap sleeve anymore is it?  ><

Adding a cap sleeve won't look tacked on if you take it to a good seamstress.  Ask at David's Bridal what they have that would work with an added sleeve, and see if they have something you like.

That one is really cool, check out the other ways it can be worn, there's also a bandeau top you can get with it to wear underneath so you don't have the "side boob" issue with some of the ways its tied.
