Vannessa & Jennybean:Lesson #1 in Bright colored shoes to go with outfits you already have:Every woman has a pair of black pants and a white top.  You probably where it to work every other week.  Get a pair of fun red shoes.  Voila!  You've added color and you don't even need to buy new clothes.  After the first time you were them and the complements you get, you'll find yourself looking in you closet and finding 2 or 3 other outfits (probably b&w combos) you can where them with.

Tha'ts funny Kwynn! My FI throws money on the floor when I wear my hooker boots (as he calls them) around the house.

hahahah, kwynn! love it! that is true, FI likes to think the same when i bring home a new pair of shoes! when i bought new shoes for work from carlos santana he asked if i would wear them only around the house for him. i think he thought they were too stripper for work, but i've got them on at the office today and everybody loves em!

I have metallic blue heels on today!  I'm usually not so great matching colored shoes to outfits, but that's a great tip Karen to wear a white shirt and black pants with colored shoes.

Colleen-  Thanks for the lesson... seriously!  I am going to take you up on that when I start my new job.  I'm excited now!

my mom always jokes that i buy outfits to match my shoes, bc i buy the shoes first, rather than the outfit.I did that this weekend!  I couldn't decide what to wear for our e-pics (this coming Sunday) so I bought shoes first!  haha.

AHHHH!! AS I WAS GOING TO CHECK MY EMAIL (FOR MY PASSWORD REMINDER FOR HEELS.COM, WHILE I TRY TO STILL TALK MYSELF OUT OF BUYING THE SHOES) I SEE TWO EMAILS FROM HEELS.COM: 1) PASSWORD RESET (AS EXPECTED) 2) EMAIL THANKING ME FOR MY INPUT TOWARDS THEIR WEBSITE (THEY EMAILED, ASKING TO GIVE THEM SUGGESTIONS ON WHAT WOULD MAKE THEIR SITE BETTER, SO I TOLD THEM SOMETHING). THEY ARE GIVING ME $25.00 OFF MY NEXT ORDER OF $50 OR HIGHER, EFFECTIVE NOW!! it's like they KNEW! maybe asking for a password reset triggered the email for rewards. i don't care-i'm saving $25 and it sealed the deal! if they were waiting for me to look in to buying something to send the email...they are very smart! great funky colored shoes always look great with a sassy pair of jeans too on a night out. and as long as the top "goes" it doesn't always have to "match" black tops, white tops, or any neutral top will look awesome with your best jeans and those fabulous (or any fabulous) shoes. I am not usually seen on nights out without my "big girl shoes" has my FI calls them. I'm 6' tall and I wear brightly colored shoes most of which have about 4 inches heels on them. Drives my FI NUTS! but it makes one feel so confident and special when their shoes make a fantastic statement :)

Glad to help.  I swear, after the first time you go with the fun shoes, it just all comes together...and you will never be able to stop. :)
