House Update

The other people are putting in an offer too.    So basically we had to figure out our very best price, which our agent is presenting to them tonight.  The other people will do the same, and the sellers get to decide.  Hopefully they'll pick us!  We went $100 over the list price.  Our current house is already in process to sell, we have a  mortgage with 20% down (not FHA), and we're willing to close in 40 days.  (Yikes.)  I think we have a lot going for us.  We should find out tonight or tomorrow at the latest.  I'm a wreck sitting here waiting!

Thanks everyone!  I just need to keep talking about it, and it's tough here at work.  I'm trying not to tell too many people what we're up to so they don't notice when we leave for extra long lunch breaks to do paperwork.

I hope you beat the other's out too!  We beat out another couple who put an offer in.  We had to go full price and we put a flat rate down for seller assist.  I eventually found out what the offer was that the other couple made.  Sucks to me them!   Good luck!  I think you will beat them by what you said!
