Fi and I are trying to revamp how we split the holidays with our families. For the last two years we just split the days (morning-early afternoon, afternoon-evening).
His grandparents (where his father's family gathers) want us to do alternating (Thanksgiving with them, Christmas with mine)
We have my family (all six of us :P), his dad's family (a million I swear!) and then his mom's. More details on family dynamics available (but would be a LONG rant)...
