My MOH and Mom are not fans - infact they dislike it - but i loves it and it is my wedding
i had thought i was going to get a bling monogram but the finance always had a vision of a bride groom topper like the old style so not me - when i found this one he was sooo on board...
What are you using or did you use???

Here's mine, I picked it and FI did not object. It was only $25 and I love all the Willow Tree brand stuff.

We just used some gerbera daisies on ours - florist prvided some extra stems.

We did a bling monogram topper. It looked really great on the cake since it wasn't top to bottom details.

Cake topper is something i'm just not willing to spend money on. I have a die-cutting machine so I may die-cut something to put on top but I won't be spending money.

Originally FI and I decided to go with a traditional bride & groom topper; but once we finalized our cake design we changed it to a sugar crystal bow on top, and a monogram "O" on the front of the cake.  (wow now that I wrote that out.... it doesn't sound attractive, but the pictures definately prove otherwise)

My florist is doing a small arrangment that matches our bouquets to put on top of the cake.

I love those- even considered something similar ourselves but couldn't afford the nicer ones....and FI wasn't entirely on board, thought a couple of options were too cheesy/cutesy. So ours look like this:

we're into camping and my FI especially likes Adirondack chairs.

For our cake topper, we had custom painted gnomes made (found on Etsy) to look like us. We also used them to make our save the dates with the caption "to gnome you is to love you". My FI loves gnomes and I incorporated them where I could to give the wedding a whimsical touch.

We did the same ones you did.  I loved that they were custom and we were able to include our beagle in the wedding (well...kinda).  My mom wasn't a fan either.  She kept saying i needed something "classy".  But after the wedding she admitted that it fit our personality and wedding well.  Here's a pic:

I made my own....we had a tree theme...so I bought a tree from a model train company to go behind us...

Elio - that is too funny that you ordered the same kind & your mother said the same thing!!! I have 3 kitties and so want them part of it and my mom hates that even more lol !!!

i was surprised at the how much the nicer monograms cost - have you looked for them on Recycled Bride ?

I found mine on Forever Wed.com after looking for a couple months.  I wasn't sure what  I wanted but I knew if I got one with people, I wanted them to look like us without breaking the bank!!  So I found one with a brunette girl in a short dress standing on a suitcase kissing a blondish groom!!  I think I paid about $40ish plus shipping.

I was looking for the "US" ones too my Fiancée has lost most his hair and the pre made bald guys look sickly or real old  - custom was the best choice for me and thankfully this was in my budget

One of our GM got us started on a wedding ware set - I think it was True Love by Lennox?  It was a very simple design of two hearts intertwined

After he got us the first piece I decided I really liked it and we incorporated the intertwined hearts design into our invitations, escort cards, etc.  The set included a cake topper along with the cake cutting set and toasting flutes

Definitely! However, the CUTEST Hello Kitty wedding cake topper is at Macy's by Nao - for $130. SO, I settled for something WAY cheaper, but *almost* just as cute - with Hello Kitty and Dear Daniel. I ADORE it. Very me.
