NOT a happy day for me!!  I came in to work this morning, and my boss has scheduled me to work on April 28 (Saturday) - which is the day of my first bridal shower.  I told her back in January I needed off that day, and again at the beginning of the month....emailed her, and saved the emails so I forwarded them back to her. 

I really hope she changes it, because I am NOT working that day!  Probably it's just an oversight.  But ....really?

I hate when an employee does everything right and a boss just disregards it or is forgetful. Isn't it their job to keep track of stuff like that?

I didn't get enough sleep last night so I'm definitely feeling a bit cranky this morning. Also don't have enough to work on at work so I'm going to have to ask for more projects

I'd rather be at home sleeping right now...

Oh no no no no no... I think that has to be an over site, not sure what you do or if they are cool with ppl trading days but i would not worry i am sure you will get that day off - and maybe joking mention the wedding date too

I have no idea!  I have two showers - one on April 28 and one on May 5.  So I think she got dates messed up or something and thought I only needed off for May 5.  Who knows!  BUT one of my co-workers did agree to switch with me so it's all good I guess.

But it was just like...I woke up with a migraine and bearly dragged myself in to work.  Didn't sleep well last night and that was the first thing I saw this morning.  NOT fun!  But oh well!  It worked out, I guess.

I am super tired today. My MOH has been in town all weekend and she came over last night to help me work on projects we were up a little late working on things. Plus I still cooked dinner while she was there and did dishes. I'm wore out!

Ugh I hate MI. Today it's supposed to be over 80 degrees (today and tomorrow), and I absolutely hate hot weather. I want Spring back.

In other news, I have a doctor appointment today and then I have to go to the grocery store... in a car with no air conditioning. Great.

Its going to be 80, almost 90 in NH this week too.  Not fun in March!  My car also does not have functioning AC, but since I prepare taxes and its not April 15th yet, I won't be running errands in the daylight at least.
