So my sister and I both woke up this morning (live two hours away) to texts messages from my dad. Without going to details - he's pretty much bashing my fi and then at the end said that he heard through "the grapevine" that I'm making plans for my wedding and to just "forget it." This is really hurt me.
I'm not sure how to go about it... My fi is over at my family's house at least twice a week to spend time with them (he's much closer to my family than his most of his own). He was okay with us being engaged (and gave fi permission when he asked fo rit) and then he says he's against it now (first to my sisters and grandma - another force I need the T&Ps for) but never directly to me until now.
I didn't want to confront him or bring it up before over heresay but now it's out in the open. I tried to answer him back (texting and calling once each) but my dad won't answer me. What do I do? If nothing else, just send me some positive T&P. Thanks.
