    Good morning! I'm just getting here, so haven't read the whole thread yet. My day is going okay, I did find out though that a CW told my new boss about a small mistake I made...I don't know why he didn't come to me, I mean if I make a mistake please tell me so I can fix it...can't fix what I don't know i've done wrong.

    my FI would be jealous. He loves the Iliad and the oddessey. He wants to learn Italian also so he can translate Dante's Inferno.

    I am getting frustrated trying to shop online in Canada.  First I wanted to buy shoes for my wedding but no one would ship to Canada unless I went with Amazon who wanted 2x the price as everyone else.  Now I am trying to buy my FI a Kindle Fire for Christmas.  Amazon.ca doesn't have them, Amazon.com does but won't ship to Canada.  I went to Ebay and bid and won an auction but now that seller doesn't want to ship to Canada either.  What is wrong with Canada???????

    That's ridiculous. I've had an Etsy business since April and have had no trouble shipping to Canada or anywhere else in the world. I've shipped to Canada, Ireland, UK, Greece, France, Australia. It costs more but not significantly, and I charge more shipping to international buyers of course.

    Have you tried zappos.com for shoes? Not sure if they ship to Canada, but they have a huge assortment.

    Do you know anyone in the U.S. you can have the Kindle shipped to, and then tehy could ship it to you? It would cost less than $10 to ship the Kindle from the U.S. to Canada. If I knew you, I'd offer to do it, but you probably don't want to ship a $200 piece of electronics to an internet stranger :)

    Hi,

    If I can't get the Ebay seller to ship to Canada I may give you a call!!  It is the only thing my FI wants and he is horrible to shop for.

    I know what you mean. The only things I can think of to give to FI are waaaaaaay out of our price range, and I just am at a loss for what else to give him. :-(
