Ceremony music

I am having an outdoor ceremony and wondered what others have done for music for the ceremony?  Has anyone tried a string quartet?  If so, any reccomendations?

We had a musician playing classical guitar during the ceremony - he did a great job, and was able to translate contemporary songs into the classical style. If you're interested, his name is Aaron Denny - www.aarondenny.com.

He actually did all of our wedding music - classical guitar during the ceremony, live music for dinner, and DJ'd for the cocktail hour and reception. He did an amazing job, and I would highly recommend him!

If you're looking for someone more local, I've heard that Joe Farren is really good too, and he offers similar services. www.joefarren.com. I know that Eco-Elegance (in Portland) is having a meet and greet event with him on October 23rd, so that may be a good place to go and check him out!
