Things symbolic of Maine?

I'm looking for different things to incorporate into my wedding that are symbolic of Maine... I guess you could say we are trying to create our theme. We are doing a traditonal lobster bake but I really don't want my theme to be the lobster or the starfish but our wedding will be overlooking the ocean. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated :)

A few things that come to mind are lighthouses, sailboats, and anything else nautical (nautical maps, anchors, compasses, etc.).

I had small jars of blueberry jam as favors and used a lot of sea glass (on cake stands around candles for centerpieces and on "I Do" that I placed in front of the cakes). I also had some lobster lollipops on the tables and a lobster trap card box. lastly, I had the flower girls carry flowers in little pails that reminded me of ones I used when I went blueberry picking with my grandmother.

Also, to indicate to the caterer who had chicken, or beef I used a lobster stamp and a pinecone stamp on the tag I put on the jam

another thing you can do is incorporate photographs of some of your favorite places in maine.  we designed our own table numbers and escort cards.  we took a bunch of our favorite photos, cropped them to fit the dimensions of the cards, gray-scaled them, and used them as the background.

We're doing Maine salt water taffy as our party favors!  And we didn't want to do a lobster bake for the wedding so we're doing one for the rehearsal dinner!

We did a lighthouse theme. Also used sea glass for decorations, whoopie pies in OOT guest bags. Everything is in my bio...
