So I ordered my dress form a shop in Augusta and had been waiting for it to come...I kept getting the run around...it's not in yet, designers fault blah blah blah.I finally got the call last week that it was in (wedding date 9/6/2009). I grabbed a bridesmaid and made the drive up, excited out of my mind. Put the dress on and it was too small!!!! The real crappy part was that I knew this would happen. When the owner of the shop first placed the order she told me that she had ordered a size 16, I freaked out then b/c that is my pant size and I know bridal gowns run small...so I asked her to order a larger size....called back a few days later and she told me she had ordered the larger size!....turns out she never hadAt first she told me I had to pay for the alterations we fought back and forth b/c I thought it was her fault since he had ordered the wrong size even having my measurements and then lied to me about fixing it. After two hours of crying and arguing I walked out with my money and no dress 5 weeks before my wedding! You really never know how much the dress means until you don't have one.Point of the story I walked into david's bridal with red puffy eyes an hour before they closed and walked out with a stunning dress, part of their new line that I never would have tried on....just wanted to express to everyone out there what angels there are at the So.Po. David's!!!!
