Cake Stand? Anyone want to sell/rent me a used one?

Hey Ladies!How awesome is this weather? We got all our engagement pics done before the brief rain-- just in time to sit out on our DJ's deck to hash out the ceremony and reception.Feeling gooood.... Hope you're all feeling so happy!But to business: does anyone have a non-yellow gold coloured cake stand I could buy or rent? I need at least a 12" cake stand (my cake is round, but will fit on a square stand if it can hold a 10" round cake without the cake overlapping the edge) but don't want to pay $80-$100 for something I'm going to use once... Anyone? =)

    He used to rent them, but they wouldn't come back so he stopped-- since he ended up charging people for them anyhow, he figured he'd just let them buy their own or use the venue's. But the Regency doesn't tend to use them, apparently?Anyhow. I found a beautiful wood one which I would use again and it's not TOO expensive ($38.99 with free shipping). Plus, if you flip it over, it becomes a serving tray with space for dip.I don't know how I missed this one in my gazillion searches online previous to now!

    I have a beautiful silver one that I'm willing to rent out, but it might be too big for your cake.  I spent over $100 on it and it was my one silly splurge for our wedding.  It's gorgeous and I can't bare to sell it, even if I never see myself using it again.  Let me know if you're interested.     You mentioned in another post you were using Larry from Rockwell Productions as your DJ. How did it go? I think I've finally decided on using a DJ versus an iPod, and am looking for some good people to contact. If you don't mind, could you share about how much it's costing you?Thanks!
