Dress fitting #3 has become NOT the final fitting...

I was all excited to go pick up my dress today, figuring this was my final fitting. But of course, I go in and it looks HORRID! The bra cups that were sewn in were marked "DD" but were smaller than the "C" cups they had in the store. Go figure. And you could see them in the gown. Plus, because the side of the gown had been adjusted, the arm hole was no longer big enough and was folding over. I was about to get REALLY frustrated with the seamstress, but then she FINALLY (for once!) took some initiative and we are switching out the bra cups, and BECAUSE I LOST 10 POUNDS since the last fitting (HOORAY ME!) we have to take in what she had let out last time.So hopefully next week, I can take it home! At last!

Oh my, I'm sorry that your dress doesn't look right! I hope she's able to fix it ASAP! I was panicking because my dress wasn't in yet, but it came in yesterday. Hooray! I was going to go in and try it on today but I really need to have one or 2 of my bridesmaids with me so they can see how to lace me into it. I made an appointment to do that on Saturday and I'm SO anxious! Hopefully I'll be able to get it fitted and altered in a short time! If there's anything wrong with it, I'm going to be in trouble!!!

It sucks that you have to go through that!  I had a similar situation with my dress and I picked it up 3 days before the wedding!  It will all work out!  Don't worry about it, trust me I did and it wasn't worth it.The bonus is when you go next time it will fit! It will fit right! Then you will be that much closer to the big day! However I am sorry you had to experience that, but congrats on losing the 10 lbs!

Oh, that must have been annoying! But I'm glad your seamstress is fixing things quickly and congrats on the 10 pounds! :-)

Thanks, all!I'll say one thing that's for sure and for certain-- the ladies at the bridal shop told me not to lose any more weight, but I say SCREW THAT NOISE! If my gown fits a little funny because I somehow manage to lose 5 or 10 more pounds before my wedding in 3 weeks-- I'll be proud and happy to wear a funny looking dress!I have 60 pounds to lose and I'm not taking 3 weeks off from the plan just because of a couple wrinkles in the gown!
