Wedding Day Timeline

Okay, so I'm working on this timeline for the wedding day.  I was wondering if you guys had any of your time lines done? The sucky thing is we're getting married at 1230...yea can't find a timeline with a wedding that starts at 1230.  So any input would be great!  Thanks!

My suggestion is to start backwards from your ceremony time (since that's fixed).  Plan in travel time to the location, pictures before (if you're doing them), getting into dresses, hair & makeup.  THEN - add in at least an extra half hour somewhere because something will throw you off schedule.

Something I wish I had done differently is not try to schedule every moment of the day of. I definately overscheduled and it made it annoying when kinks were thrown in (like rain) and then everyone was like "what do we do now" I would make sure everyone knows where and when they have to be somwhere and how they are getting there, and that should be enough.  ALso pad your timeline as someone will be late, and it will be frustrating...

I'm basically only scheduling what is necessary-- like the hair appointment(s) for me and my bridal party and the ceremony start. After that-- if someone's late, they get left behind. Unless it's me or the groom! LOLSeriously, if I have to schedule anything else, my head is going to explode!

Are you talking about a timeline for the actual wedding (dinner starts at x, cake cutting at x) or for the preparation stuff?

Good idea adding the half hour!! That's nice!  I don't care so much about a timeline for the wedding as long as it starts somewhere on time! lol But like as far as when do I get my hair done.  How far before the wedding do I start getting ready before the wedding...
