Anyone having black and gold?

Sorry if this has been asked, I couldn't find any and I'm pretty new to the Pitts board! While I'm pretty much decided on my colors, as I was searching them the other day I came across another theme... black and gold/yellow with damask. I thought it was really pretty, and I showed FI and he loves it because he's a HUGE Steelers fan (even though he's from OH) but he doesn't care about colors much as long as I love it. But I thought this would be pretty not only because I like it, but because I KNOW he would. So I'm just wondering if any of you have done this or seen it done and if anyone has pics or a bio?!? TIA

I love black and gold w/ damask, but I can't help you out with a bio.  It does look great though, IMO.

Like others have said (thanks, ladies for the compliments), I did black, white, and gold.I didn't do damask (although I think it is very beautiful) because I was trying to keep it really simple. I did black, white, and gold because I love all colors and combinations and thought this would be as good as any for my theme.My only advice is: Don't stress out about finding the perfect shade of gold for everything. Thanks ladies! I've googled it a few times mostly because when I search for damask cakes, a beautiful black and gold one comes up and I love it! So before I change my colors I wanted to make sure it wasn't "cheesy" or anything to do that. Kwynn your wedding looked amazing!!! FI would LOVE something like that!!

Aww thanks!  Yea we thought it would be something different and we will always display it in our spare room we have dedicated to all things Steelers!
