DJ - music suggestion

At what point do DJs get sick of you suggesting songs for them to play? 

I'm having an all 80's music reception, and the DJ asked me for a list of songs that I want.  The problem is, I can't stop thinking of songs that I want!  Do you think he'll be offended if I send him a list of 50 songs broken down by Cocktail/Dinner music and Dancing music?

    Put it this way, that's a solid 2.5 hours of music.  I think if you pick a smaller number of songs to put on a "must play list" and separate that by dinner and dancing, any good DJ will be able to read the crowd and work his magic from there.  I'd say 50 is over the top...

    I don't think the DJ would be offended! If anything you made his job a million times easier! You are paying him for a service so don't worry what other people think. Its your day hun! Good luck!
