Checks!

So last night I got all of our favors assembled.  I just need figure out how I'm going to label them and "decorate" the box - i.e. bow, sticker, etc.  They look so cute!  I should take a picture but I can't seem to find my camera.  BAD, I know!

Invitations are also 95% done.  I just have to get some Xyron refill cartridges so I can apply the last of the wrap around address labels.  Those suckers will be going out next week.  Yay!

I've finally decided on shoes, and tonight I am going to pick up my dress for my first fitting on Saturday.  OMG, where has the time gone?!  I still do not have any undergarments so when I pick up my dress tonight we are going to try on some long line bras and shapewear slips to see if I like any of it.  I am seriously excited to see and try on my dress again.  Smile   My veil, hairpiece and extra fabric to make a bolero are not in yet, but those should be in by the middle of this month.  It will be great to see the whole "look" come together!

What checks has everyone completed this week?

    None :-(

This has been a crazy busy work week (worked 7 AM to 7 PM yesterday).  I only have two more weeks of school though (!!!!!!!!!!!!) so I will have a full month before the wedding to do what I need to do.

Congrats, Chris!  Those are awesome checks!

We finished our programs.  I wrote them over the weekend, FI edited/formated, and then we ordered them from www.smartpress.com, but they haven't come in yet.

I got boxes to make our kid favors.  The adults are getting little jars of blueberry jam (favors will be escort cards, too), and the kids are getting little boxes of chocolate-covered blueberries.  I got some little tins from AC Moore--favors are 30% off there until the weekend, I think.  We will assemble the kid favors and make the welcome bags on Sunday, hopefully.

Congrats on the checks!  I am printing my invites today, it's starting to feel so real!  You'll have to share some pics when you finish them up!

    Congrats on the checks!

I have actually been wedding productive this past week, which has been very rare for me lately.... we have invites done, i have all the addresses and labels done,  just have to finish enclosure cards.  Then send everything out by next week! (it feels so real now!) We put a deposit on the limo, finalized cake and menu for the caterer, and we even got a couple room blocks set up for guests. And the bridesmaid dresses are in, so i scheduled a fitting for them.  Still waiting on my dress though :(

That's so exciting to see your whole outfit to come together, dress, shoes, veil, everything!  Yay for that!!

Congrats on the checks!  It's so exciting that you get to see your dress again!!

So far this week for WR stuff we've only purchased some bottles that will be part of our centerpieces.  FI and I decided on a few actions that need to be decided by the end of the weekend though, so I'm sure those will go on our to-do list for Saturday and Sunday.  :)

Yay for checks! I know I'm a little late here, but I got some great stuff done this weekend! I started the first batch of whoopie pies for our welcome bags and got about 70 done (of 200).

Also, instead of table numbers, we are doing places we've been and putting a picture of us at that place on the tables. So a while ago, I was looking for frames and couldn't find anything cheap, until I looked at Michael's and found those cheap frames that are made for DIY painting. So this weekend, I got them all stained (they were too light for my liking) and the names of the places burned into the top with the wood burner. All 20 are done! My fingers were so cramped from all the burning!! But they look awesome, so I'm excited!
