White Barn Inn

Who has been?  I'd love to hear feedback, especially if you have feedback on the rooms.  We are thinking of spending two nights here to cap off our week in Maine.  We know without a doubt we will be splurging on dining here, but as we're looking at accomodation options we are thinking it might be special to stay here in the Inn as well.  Any feedback?

I grew up in Kennebunk and we went there for a dinner once. Don't know about the rooms, but the services was top notch (as was the price). Very fancy. I would assume the rooms are very very nice.

Thanks for the reply!  I called and the person I spoke with was lovely and very honest about what the rooms offered for the price.  Talk about steep!  Yikes!  We ended up renting a cabin on the water at the Breakwater Inn instead.  It's a sister property and he said for the money it would be much bigger and more modern than anything we'd get at the White Barn Inn.  We are looking forward to dining at the WBI though.  We've heard amazing things!

Yeah, not surprised. I believe the prices reflect the prestige of "staying at the white barn inn" haha. Cabin on the water sounds soooo much better! Oh, and I do remember the portions being rather small but presented beautifully. However they did keep offering an endless supply of rolls!
