Reception in Boothbay

My sister is trying to plan her wedding from NJ. They would like to have the ceremony at Barrett Park in Boothbay. However, they have not located a place for a reception. She is looking for a place that can hold 100-120 people realitively close to the park. Does anyone have any sugestions or experience with this area? Thanks

I don't know anything about these places, but there's the Linekin Bay Resort, the Newagen Inn, Smugglers Cove Inn and the Boothbay Harbor Inn.

Depends on her Budget - The Spruce Point Inn and the Newagen Seaside Inn are both really beautiful, but more expensive.  The Linekin Bay Resort is nice, very casual and rustic and very affordable.  Fisherman's Wharf restaurant does weddings too I think.  Not too much to choose from in the Boothbay Region.

The Spruce Point Inn has filed for bankruptcy; I'd be a little nervous about doing an event there, as you never know if the property will get foreclosed on or sold.

I'm planning my wedding and came across their website in one of my searches. It seems really beautiful and affordable too!
