House of Bridal/ Bangor

Went to Henry's Bridal again to look at dresses....  narrowed it down but we got better service last time we went. 

Then my sister took us to House of Bridal and we really found the dress I wanted.  It's beautiful but I didn't think to take a picture!  I'm going to be able to order it in 2 weeks

Anyways I was wondering if anyone had any comments about them...  good experience, bad?  This is my first time ordering from a shop.  Any help would be great!!!

I have been a customer at Henry's Bridal in the past, being a bridesmaid in 2 weddings, so i really wanted to buy from them. i did get excellent service, but i never felt 100% confident in the dresses i narrowed down.
when i went to house of brides, it wasnt as busy and i also received excellent service. i found the dress that made me teary and just bought the sample dress since it was my size. i havent gone back for a fitting yet though.
but my bridesmaids ordered their dresses there too (havent arrived yet) and the staff has always been super friendly. so far, my experience has been good.

however, i have heard negative things related to the groomen tuxes.

thanks! I think i'm going with HOB.  I think I can order it next week!  Is that too soon for an august wedding?  LOL

its never to early to order your dress! i got engaged november of last year, went dress shopping in may of the year and my dress will be coming in in october! which is one year from my wedding. so i planned WAAAYYY ahead! but its great because the seamstress that i am using books up REALLY fast!

I got my dress!!! Got it from house of brides. I may go thru a seperate seamstress... going to call around for prices later on... when i find my shoes I want to wear....  Just need to find a good one:)
