anyone rented chairs from somewhere other than a rental company?

I'd liek to save some money here since I'm only using the chairs for the ceremony and the cheapest I can find that would be accesible is going to cost me $162. It's hard to justify when the ceremony is only like 20 minutes! I asked my church and they said no, so I'm just wondering if anyone as actually rented from someone/where outside of a rental company?

Depending on how many chairs you are renting, I would say $162 is a good deal. You could try calling a town hall, a VFW or a local school and maybe they would help. If you have a friend that's a teacher or active in the community, they might be able to hook you up. Otherwise, I think that's pretty fair price.
