Engagement photo ideas

Hii everyone! Fi and I were planning on getting engagement photos taken this summer (that would eventually turn into save the date postcards). Was wondering if anyone did something similar, where you had photos taken (looking for southern Maine/ Portland area), or any tips. Thank you

We did ours in the Old Port with our wedding photographer last fall. It was a great chance to get to know her before the wedding, and she got a chance to see how we photograph together. Basically, we just met her on Commercial St. and we wandered around the Old Port setting up shots wherever we liked. It was very casual and fun. Do you have your photographer lined up yet?
