Plans for the week?

What do you ladies have planned this week, wedding related (WR) and non-wedding related (NWR)? Tell us what you want to get accomplished!

WR: My hair trial is today! I will post some pics later Also, mailing out thank yous from the shower last weekend, working on making the programs and OOT (out of towners) bags and hoping to go up to visit our venue on Saturday to finalize details. And probably other little things here and there; with only 40 or so days to go, everything seems to be wedding related these days!

NWR: Got a big work event happening Thursday evening, and I realllly need to clean and do some laundry! Also, FI and I got the new Super Mario Bros. game for the Wii as a wedding present, and we're hooked! We'll probably be playing that here and there this week too

Min - I've been eyeballing that game, glad to hear it's awesome.

I just took the ONE final I had for this semester (projects/papers for the others), so I'm school-free until August 30th.

We're trying again tomorrow to do the engagement photos (rain last week), and I'm crossing my fingers.  I've got a bunch of free Shutterfly prints coming to me, but I've been waiting to get the shoot done, hoping to print those out.  They expire sometime this month, so I'm hoping the editing process doesn't take too long.  

Now that school is out, I have about a billion projects, both WR and NWR.  I want to plant a small garden (flowers, tomatoes, possibly basil and lettuce?).  It'll be my first garden.

My large scale wedding to-do is making the seat covers for our outdoor ceremony site.  They range from 10' to 19' and I'm trying to figure out a pet-free space to cut/pin/iron/sew them.  I'd like to get them done before the 23rd (HAH!!) so that I can "fit" them when I go to the ceremony site for a NWR meeting.

WR and NWR: Sad to say but my goal is to try to stay away from it, i have two weeks of school (one week of classes and one week of finals) so i need to focus on school and not wedding planning for two weeks--its really hard!

WR:  Our engagement photos are scheduled for tomorrow, but the weather isn't looking very promising.

NWR:  We have our home inspection tomorrow as well... slightly nerve racking. Working and a paper and a final to do to finish up the semester.

WR: Now that we have finalized the ceremony and reception spot, we are moving on to a photographer. I plan on doing lots of research this week... and any recommendations are welcomed!! Also I plan on taking a trip to Peak's with my BFF/MOH to take a peak at our reception spot!

NWR: Laundry!

kcole: What location on Peaks did you end up choosing?  Also, I recommend Shannon Post for photography.  She has been really great to work with and is really flexible as well.  She is based out of Brunswick.

NWR (since I am already married haha): Clean my classroom for mother's day breakfast on Friday.  Tomorrow I have a meeting after work.   THursday I have a meeting until 4:30 when it is over I need to clean my grandparents' house they are returning from FL this weekend.  Friday night heading to Northfield (Machias) for the weekend.

JaimeMarie, welcome back! How's married life treating you? I'll be in your neck of the woods this Saturday for a final look and talk with Scott at Shawnee Peak. The wedding is in 38 days and we still have so much to finalize there, ahhh!

WR :  Writing and mailing thank you cards from my bachelorette/girls weekend I had last weekend.  Doing some planning for tasting pie when we get up to Maine in June.  

NWR : Cleaning up the apartment - we were on vacation last week, so there are suitcases and presents everywhere, and mail piled up.

WR:  Reviewing the contract for the reception site (since she finally called me back!) and hopefully debating room prices! I don't want my guests to pay their ridiculous room prices! ahh oh well.  Then find a priest! I'm not putting a deposit on the church without having a priest! Emailed a potential photographer.. we'll see what happens there.  Make an appointment to try on dresses! YAY! So fun

NWR:  Find a house!! My dream (first) home went under contract last weekend and I was devistated.  We're looking to put in a backup offer just incase! But we just started looking so it wasn't something we wanted to jump on without looking around.  My FI is from up north and doesn't really grasp the fact that houses in Southern Maine are much more expensive then the ones up there.  He's having a hard time coping with this.
