DJ help!! Ideas

Hii! Does anyone recommend a fun, outgoing dj that would do well with a young 30s crowd and still get the older people dancing? Thanks!

Re: DJ help!! Ideas

  • What area will your wedding be in?
I used Jeff Rockwell.  Loved him! He's great at reading the crowd.  He's out of S.Portland.

  • My parents are DJs out of Portland. Very reasonably priced. Wil travel almost anywhere.

Their prices never go above $500 or $600 (I believe) But they will work with anyone's budget. They have been doing it for about 8 or 9 years and have done hundreds of weddings. Most of their business is word to mouth.

  • Delan Fulgham or Jon Ellis both on Facebook and both amazing!
  • I did a wedding in July that was a 30 something bride and groom with all ages attending. The DJ did a great job and had something for everyone. He was easy to work with too.

Here is a link to a recording from that wedding:

    Good luck-

  • I should add... the bride and groom requested the Olympic Theme as their opening song since they married on the opening day of the Summer Olympics. Smile
  • On the Fly Productions - They are great!

  • I'm still looking; but I found a lot of DJs on www.gigmasters.com

A friend of mine just turned me on to THE PROS
  • We have hired Dave Dionne of Dionne Entertainment for our wedding next October, he had been fantastic to work with so far and has amazing reviews. He is in the Portland area.
  • DJ Fitts (on Facebook)  or Cory Creamer (on facebook- Performance Enterainment)
Been to a wedding with Cory he did awesome. Fun for the younger and older crowds. DJ fitts is great as well.

Try DJ Ricky B from Bell-Aire Music Productions. He didn my sisters wedding and he's doing mine next. My family loves him he's done lots of things for us. He's from NH but will travel anywhere and wont charge you any extra. He does a great job with a mix of ages. his contact is www.bellairemusic.com he's reasonably prices under $900 and gives you lots of extras like lighting etc.
