    bridesmaid totes

i got each off my girls a tote at Mardens for 4 dollars a piece, Ive been picking up little things here and there for my girls. Some will be the same and some things will be different according to girl.

I will be making coasters out of tiles (idea I snagged from the girls on the DIY board)

I got each of my girls luffa sponges at the dollar store and will be buying handmade organic soap at the common ground fair.

I got some small mists from Victoria's seccret during their semi annual sale for a couple bucks

I will be making them bridesmaids shirts with soft fabric paint and gems as well as picking up some flip flops from old navy (when they become 2 dollars a pair again most likely next summer season)

I will be making hair flower clips with silk flowers and broaches i got a mardens for a dollar a piece.

I will be making them bracelets to wear to the wedding

hmm thats all  I can think of for now, but will most likely be adding thigns as i find sales and little gifts here and there

I bought each girl a pearl necklace and earrings, either from Etsy or Amazon. They were all different to reflect their different tastes and so they didn't look too matchy matchy. I bought them monogrammed cosmetic bags and filled them with lip gloss, nail polish, a cute magnetic picture frame of the two of us, a wine glass charm, etc.

We also made homemade strawberry wine that we gave to all our attendants and our parents.

I got them each custom-made earrings on Etsy. I love them! I'm too poor to afford more gifts, haha. But in fairness, I haven't made them put up with me/wedding planning.

i got some cute little totes from theknot store (nice plug huh?) for pretty cheap on clearance and engraved jewelry boxes for my girly bridesmaid and a horse barn sign for the moh.... she's clearly not a jewelry box kind of girl.  i love gifts that are true to the personality but also have some continuity between them to unify.

Since I had been planning on having my bridesmaids pick out/wear their own LBD's, I had thought about getting them all similar or matching earrings to kind of tie everyone together.  Love the ideas the pp's have suggested too.  Just be true to yourself, your girls, and your budget!  I'm sure they'll appreciate whatever you decide to do for them.

I got all of my maids totes from http://www.etsy.com/shop/PersonalizedGiftsbyJ.
I paid 9.00 each for them. (that included the monogramming)
I plan on filling them with all of the things they will need the day of the wedding.
    I love these bags!

Wow...what a coincidence...that etsy seller is based in Mississippi too.

You're not allowed to advertise your own businesses here.

And reviving threads that are over 2 years old?  That's just annoying!
