I have a reception venue dilema. I'm trying to figure out which would be cheaper a reception hall that it is a blank canvas and would need a lot of decor to make it look nice or the convention center which won't require as much work but is a little more expensive and has other cost such as security, insurance, and a fairly pricey caterer that I would have to use since she has a contract with them. I guess I'm just wondering would the cost of decorations for the blank canvas end up being pricier? The blank canvas is $750. The convention center would end up being around $1500 for room rental, security, and insurance. Has anybody had any experience with this or faced this same dilema? Thanks!
