Blue nile?

Anyone order a wedding band from there? DF found what he wants at the Clark building, but I can't find anything I like except one ring back home. Well they don't accept phone orders, and I would rather NOT have my Mom go buy my wedding band for me (even though we would pay). I was on blue nile today and it looks like something VERY similiar, and about $1800 cheaper, is on there. Has anyone ordered/returned if they don't like it? TIA!

I've heard nothing but good things about Blue Nile.I found my e-ring at the Clark Building, but we were not purchasing that day. I went home, looked up the designer, got a list of authorized dealers (Clark Building store was not one) and my DH ended up getting it over the phone from NYC (from a known jeweler, not a fly-by-night operation, haha) and shipped to him insured. So my advice is to find out the name of the designer and seek it out yourself online for a better deal. Do you happen to know the name or style number of the designer?

I've heard only rave reviews about Blue Nile as well.  Supposedly their customer service is amazing.

It's an in house design, so I don't have the number or anything. I was hoping to get something similiar.

Yes!  My daughter's FI bought her engagement ring from Blue Nile.  He custom designed it himself and they made it. She loves it!Thy bought her wedding band there as well - it was a band that was encircled with diamonds - but when it came, it didn't fit right with the E-ring.She returned it for a full refund with no problem whatsoever.  She just had to pay for the return shipping. My DH and I bought her wedding pearls there.  They are beautiful. My DD also bought her BM's pearl bracelets and earrings from Blue Nile. We've always been extremely satisfied with the jewelry and the customer service. If you google, you can usually find a coupon for 10% off.If you register with eBates (www.ebates.com) you can get around 3-4% back.

My SIL's ering and band are from Blue Nile.  She hasn't had any problems with them, but did have to find a local jeweler to have them cleaned, redipped, etc.  HTH!

DH got my e-ring at Blue Nile.  It needed to be resized, so we sent it back to them.  It was done quickly and we had no problems. My band is from Jared, so when I take it in to be checked as part of the maintenance program, I just have them check my e-ring too.  Mine is platinum so it doesn't need to be dipped so I didn't have to worry about that.

One of my best friends got her e-ring from Blue Nile- her FI picked out the diamond and designed the ring.  It arrived too big for her finger (he didn't know her size) and it was returned and sent back very quickly.  I too have heard nothing but good things!

Well mine is platinum too so no need to redip, and the local jeweler that made my e ring will do the checks of prongs, etc. I am just leary about spending a few grand on something that comes from the internet, but it seems you all of had great experiences, so I will talk to DF and try. All we have to lose is return shipping, and all we have to gain is a great ring at a great price! THANKS!

DH purchased my ring from Blue Nile and had nothing but good things to say about the Customer Service, etc.  Ordering online is always nerve-wracking, especially so for such a large purchase.
