I'm curious on what kind of food you are all serving for your weddings.... We are doing a buffet, with steak chicken and fish, ceaser and house salad and an antipasti, and of course veggies and mashed potatoes. Yumm! I'm hungry just thinking about it:)

Passed Appetizers: mini quesadillas, mini spring rolls, and tomato bruschetta. 

Buffet Dinner: Our venue's signature salad, bread, Sliced Roast Sirloin, Chicken Marsala, Roasted Red Skin Potatoes, Green Beans

Cake! 

We'll also have an open bar.

We are doing 

cocktail hour- with fruit and chesse 

Buffet Line- Pit Beet & BBQ Chicken, buttered corned, baked potatoe and corn slaw

Pie!

We are serving beer and wine, and lemonade

We have SO MUCH FOOD for our wedding!

During cocktail hour we'll have: 2 stationary displays consisting of cheese & crackers and a mediterranean grilled vegetables; and 4 passed hors d'oeuvres, which are jumbo shrimp cocktail, beef wellington, sesame chicken, and bacon wrapped sea scallops. 

For the meal, we'll have: pan-seared crabcakes for the app, ceasar salad, and the meals are a choice from: filet mignon with cabernet sause and parm mashed potatoes, all-natural stuffed chicken breast with prosciutto, spinach with roasted pepper basil sause and risotto THEN we also have a vegeterian option of grilled vegetable lasagna!

Then cake for dessert with chocolate covered strawberries and homeade truffles!

YUMMMMMMM!!!

We too have an open bar! I'm so happy to be able to do that for our guests!!

Lots of food. 4 Passed apps, Table of apps, fruit and veggie trays and hors d'eouvers. White glove service dinner ( we just found that out)
Salad followed by lime intermezzo, then choice of pistachio encrusted chicken, Filet with crab cake or Salmon florentine..then cake and snacks
We also will have a late night snack for whomever stays past hours.

Cocktail Hour: Mashed Potato Bar and a Sorbet & Fruits Bar
Main Menu: Salad, Dinner Rolls, Sauteed Veggies, and entree choices of Chicken Marsala, Pork Loin with Peppercorn Sauce, or Portobello Mushroom
Dessert: Wedding Cake
Late Night Snack: Not totally decided on but probably S'mores, Popcorn, & Cookies....or I'm also looking into a food truck or  In-n-Out burger, we'll see though!

4 or 5 tray passed apps during cocktail hour - I have no idea what I selected anymore but a mix of fish, meat, and vegetarian options. Dinner is food stations - New England style with clam chowder, mini paper cones of fish and chips, lobster rolls - A SoCal Station with fish and chicken tacos and chips and guac - and a traditional station with steak tips, asparagus, and mashers.

We're hoping the food service is fluid with people taking food, eating, mingling, no assigned seats, etc...Nothing terribly formal for us.

OMG... it's a good thing I'm eating my healthy meal of ground turkey and sweet potato right now, or I'd be running out and stuffing my face! Everyone's food sounds delicious!

We are having a BBQ buffet. Menu is not set in stone yet, but it looks like we are doing 3-4 appetizers for cocktail hour (I have my eye on mini broham sliders), chicken and baby back ribs with baked beans and potato salad for dinner, and then cake and pie for dessert. Beer and wine open bar.

We are having seated dinner - salad, choice of fish, steak, or chicken with two sides, and wedding cake. Since we are not getting to the reception until 7 or so... What is everyone's thought on the need for apps? We are having smaller ceremony (50 people or less) out of state.
