2 weeks late...

as previously posted my dress was supposed to ship in mid June ..it was not at the store when i called a few days after the date they quoted...i called today and asked for an update..the woman said theyd call their office for a tracking update..fast forward 4 hours later.... Apparently the girl who takes care of updated shipping information is on vacation till next week and never sent an email, the lady made it sound like that was her only job, to the store with the list of dress info.

Im a little perturbed...i was hoping to be prancing around in it by now...ugh

  • i would talk to a manager because there are pple that take over jobs when pple go on vacation.  get a definate date of ship to you.  how late is your dress

    I would definitely talk to the manager about how unacceptable you find this.  Your dress was supposed to be here like LAST MONTH. /drama

    Who knows, maybe you can get a discount, free alterations, or some free accessories out of it ;)   I would put my money on accessories since they have the largest mark-up, lol.

    Oh, and when I read the title I was totally thinking about something else!

    As for what email.. i guess every week someone sends a list on whos dresses are being shipped out and its approximate arrival date.

    I have NEVER had an issue with this store so its quite surprising to me that they're lacking lately.

    Im not one of those people who like to raise a stink when things go wrong. We all make mistakes, I'm just super irritated. If it's one thing I hate, its waiting.

  • give them till end of week and then make a call monday..  tell them now its 21 days late and unacceptable..  you want to know exactly when it will be here.. if give run around tell them i want a manager and you want number of place coming from....
  • Yeah, I guess I don't understand why its such a big deal for someone else to look it up for you and see when your dress is going to arrive.

  • And I agree with flutterbride2b - see about some kind of discount! My MOH and her husband ordered a TV and it came in late, and she was able to get a 10% discount since they had assured her it would arrive at a certain time.
