Checks!

With our one year mark just a few days away, I have been doing some crazy planning. I know this year is going to FLY and we'll be standing at the alter before I know it! Here's what I've gotten done over the last week or so.

1) Bridesmaid gifts.
FH and I were at the outlet mall today. He's off work this week and we're supposed to be moving but due to the storm we had and the power outages that have come with it, we aren't moving unitl Thursday. The Coach Outlet had a huge clearance banner in their window so we stopped in to see what they had. When we walked in they were handing out coupons for an additional 30% off. I've known I wanted to give my girls clutches, and being able to give them a Coach one is an awesome bonus! I found silver ones that I loved and were just what I had been picturing. When they had 4 for me to snatch up I knew I had to grab them! Including tax I got them for $43 a piece (below my $50 budget!), they were originally $125. :)

2) Bridemaid's Dresses
I picked out one I liked in March or so but wasn't ready to pull trigger. I had my girls (who are spread out ALL over the US go to the David's Bridal stores near them and try on the one I liked. With a thumbs up from all of them I gave them the go-ahead to order them ASAP. (I am super paranoid it'll get discontinued.) So glad to have that decison made!

3) DJ
We decided to go with a guy that I went to HS with. He now owns his own DJ company and works with 10 other DJ's. He's got a couple good reviews here on TK, and other girls I graduated with have recommended him giving rave reviews. We're getting a discount for using one of his preffered reception venues, another for our Friday wedding, and one more "HHS Alumni" dicount he doesn't advertise on his site. :) So glad to have this one done with, it's not really a "fun" check but a very necessary one.

4) STD's
This is just a half a check. I decided on a desgin (the "Free Cake" one!) and have started buying the supplies I'll need to assemble them. Next step: printing, assembly, and mailing!

So glad to have these done! Feeling great. :)
