I hope everyone had a great weekend!  I sure did.  I got exactly what I wanted for my birthday.  My DH tried to kill me last night though.  He accidentally had a burner on, but not lit, for over an hour while I was napping.  Here's to a very quick week.

Good Morning, everyone!  So I just found out that my favorite Aunt can't make my shower on Sunday but she has a good reason - she's closing on a house in Key West! And she said we can go down there whenever we want.  She sent me the virtual tour and it looks AMAZING.  I can't wait to go check it out! I got a lot of things done this weekend so that's good.  But yesterday was just too damn hot.  I was out shopping for the shower yesterday and I thought I  was going to die! Me and the heat do NOT get along. Shannon - glad you had a good birthday and that DH didn't kill you.  That wouldn't make for a very good birthday!

Good Morning!E is back from his bachelor party in New Orleans. And, it's my turn this weekend in NYC! Can't wait for Friday!I have my hair trial tonight and the rest of the week is pretty wedding-full trying to get everything done before family gets into town. Only 3 weeks left of work until I get 2 weeks off!Happy Birthday Shannon!!!!

Good morning! I had a great weekend. My work function went SO SMOOTHLY on Friday. YAY! Saturday, I treated myself to a facial & massage b/c I've been so stressed out. Yesterday, swimming at my Mom & Dad's house. Very relaxing all around. Now, gearing up for my golf outing I'm planning for two weeks from today. WR stuff - I think I decided on decor for the pews. Invitation wording is finalized and I am going to print them this week. (EEK! - so exciting!) programs are next...Busy busy busy. :)Happy Birthday, morganphd!

Glad that you're still with us, Shannon. :P  N - Wahoo! 3 weeks! I'm so excited for you and hope that your hair trial goes great tonight!My weekend was nice, but MAN was it hot outside. The boot did not like it at all. We ended up watching a few John Hughes movies (Planes, Trains, & Automobiles and Pretty in Pink) and stayed inside to keep cool.

Good morning!  Had a pretty good weekend.Tried out Emilianos on the South Side - just a few months old - on Friday.  Don't waste your money.  The food has no taste and actually tastes like reheated frozen food.  Even the salsa was pretty tasteless.  Really disappointed in it. :/Another hot one today!  Glad I am at least able to be in the A/C.

Morning!  We had a lovely and uneventful weekend, which was just what I needed.  Did lots of reading, thanks to Jenn.    Attempted some yardwork yesterday, but it is soo freaking hot here!  Sadly, my favorite coworker is on vacation this week and one of my least favs just returned today, haha.  Might make for a long week.

Candice - we've had an above ground pool there since Lindsay and I were in jr. high. We didn't really use it much in college, though. I think we were too cool. hahaha. My dad has been saying recently he wants to get an in-ground pool once he has grandkids. Mom's thought is: Why wait!?

Thanks everyone. Dori and Sonya - oddly enough, I wanted the medicine to finally kick in so I wouldn't have to go in for more blood work this week.  AF finally showed up after almost three months.  Must admit, it was my oddest birthday wish ever.

Morning! I think this is a P&R for me - swamped at work again (seriously, all this working has got to stop, lol). Had a fairly relaxing weekend - took Fri afternoon off to go to Kennywood, lazed around the house on Sat, and met up with some friends for lunch on Sun. DH had the brilliant idea to work outside yesterday afternoon (building a new flowerbed). We haven't worked outside in WEEKS, but the one seriously hot day of the summer, he suddenly wants to go work outside? He's nuts - I only lasted an hour out there before I called it quits. He stayed out longer, and is super sunburned and still dehydrated.

Candice - that IS hilarious. If you can picture driving in the drive way...looking at the garage/house...the pool is up by the deck on the left. Who knows what dad will do with a pool. They are in the process of buying a vaca home in Naples, FL so we now have an in-ground pool...in FLORIDA. YAY!

Good morning.  It sucks being back in the office after 3 days off.  The long weekend was lovely though!Boss is back in the office today, as is intern, so expecting a busy day.DH and I saw HP last night and I was so disappointed.  He went because he knew how badly I wanted to see it, even though he had no interest whatsoever and it was so boring.  I would have enjoyed it much more from the comfort of my own couch!

Good Morning ladies! It is SO hot here- 98 today, with a heat index of 105. I will be lucky to make it home w/o turning into a puddle....waiting for my shuttle bus after work will NOT be fun. Had a good weekend-we got new cell phones. I got to keep my number and I have a purple phone (my fav color) so I am happy. And DH has one know, thank goodness. Sonya and Nuelsi- I cannot believe how close you ladies are!! :-)

Good morning!  glad you got your birthday wish Shannon!We had a new floor installed in the kitchen, bathroom and hallway this weekend.  Took ALL DAY on Saturday even though it was supposed to be a half day.  So I went shopping.  :)Casual week at work this week, and a 1/2 day on Wednesday (so far, we'll see if we can sneak in a few more 1/2 days.)  Then my bachelorette party is this weekend!  The girls are taking me to Mohegan Sun casino and we're staying over Saturday night.  Yea!  (Have fun at your's too, N!)
