Escort card question. (stupid questions for 1000$ please)

We are having a soda bar that will serve as both the escort card and the favor.
I'm wondering if they are supposed to be done alphabetically or just group them by table #s.

anyone...anyone...bueller? :) 

( I got canceled from work today and I'm being lazy at home wondering what kind of wedding diy stuff I want to start...)
