Would you keep this?

I'm looking for a more modern display for our escort cards and stumbled upon this. I love that it's different! Would you keep something like this? If it just said your name on it? I won't be offended just curious...

I'd keep it cause it's kind of neat. Throw it in a drawer somewhere, and then when I was doing a big cleaning I'd probably toss it in the trash after realising it had been collecting dust for months. I just don't know what I'd do with it...

Maybe on a desk at work, maybe for sentimental value (for at least a while), but I don't know of anywhere I'd prominently display it at home or anything.

Probably not. If I took it home at all, it'd end up in a junk drawer until my next big clean out and then it would go in the trash. I've had 3 of my girlfriends get married recently. Two of them had little trinkets for favors and the other had chocolates. 75% of the trinkets got left behind at the first two weddings, and I saw people walking around and actually taking other people's choclates at the third. I've heard several places that if your favor can't be eaten, it'll get left behind more often than not.

If you aren't going to be hurt/upset by lots of them being left behind, I think they'd look really cool.

Truthfully, I think a lot of the stuff people put in their wedding, thinking it'll be a keepsake for someone, just gets tossed in a drawer and forgotten about.  I know I sound scroogey today, but the wedding industry - and theknot.com is no exception - spends a lot of energy trying to sell you things that are cool, but unnecessary, under the guise of, "Your guests will want to keep this as a memento of your day!"  Hence, as scroogey and frugal as it sounds they'll be no place cards or favors at our wedding.  I've never kept one!

</div><div>Good comments to consider. I am going to end up during a monogram cookie...ciz we both love cookies. But at first, I was thinking a chirstian cd of sogns we like or a travel tag. But I know people will leave them, then I would be mad. At least with the cookie, you can give it tomorrow  for lunch or give it to a child.
