destination wedding - gift question

Hello! I have a random question - FI and I are heading to Clearwater for his brothers wedding. Should we give them their gift after the ceremony, or wait a couple weeks for the reception? They are leaving Clearwater right after the ceremony and going someplace else in Florida for the rest of their vacation / honeymoon. FI thinks they could use the $$ for the rest of their vacation.

I would probably give it after the ceremony, but thats just me!

If you are giving $$, then I'd say give it after the ceremony.If it's an item, then I'd wait until the reception.

Agreed with PPs, if you're giving money, give it after the ceremony; if it's an item, wait until they return home.Also, hijacking a bit- I LOVE LOVE the bouquet in your sig pic!  Where did you find it?

Steal away! I'm flattered! My colors are green, blue, and brown. I'm trying to match everything to the 50 spools of ribbon I bought on a whim at Michael's. There's a pic in my bio if you're interested. Thanks!

Oh, I love those colors!  Just checked out your bio and I am totally impressed with all your DYI.  Those big lanterns were an awesome find!
