Hi everyone!
I am new. I posted in the introductions.

My FI and I have been dating for about a year and a half. He proposed May 25th. We plan on getting married on July 4th 2013. But aren't 100% on that yet.
My birthday is July 5th. My mom thinks it would be weird to get married so close to my birthday but I think it will be awesome! Best birthday present ever!

My mom will be making my dress for me. I have already purchased the pattern. Yay. My first and only wedding purchase so far.
My younger brother is going to be our officiant.
And we are getting married during my FI's family reunion! It is an annual event and the perfect time.

I am excited and just wanted to say hi and congrats and you will be seeing more of me!

    I second emmyroo about hearing about your dress! And I think that is really cool that you're getting married during a family reunion - so many people get worried about their wedding interfering with other family events, but yours is just fitting right in!

    The dress! Sorry, I was the last couple days. I have a picture of the pattern. I took the picture to show my mom. It is a Simplicity pattern # 3878. Going with dress C.


    I looked at fabrics on Tuesday (overwhelming, need to go back with my mom) and decided it will definitely be white. I want to add a little bling to it as well. And I'm not going to have the bow or little roses because I don't like those.
