Emotional and Busy Weeks

Since I got engaged in March, I've been busy planning our wedding; Last week, we moved my daughter and myself into my FI house with his two boys. Had to stop wedding planning, get everything out of my apartment and unpack it.

Sunday, my FI and I went over to the apartment to clean. While, we were gone, one of the boys let my cat out of the house. She is not an outdoor cat. She has been missing for almost a week and I'm an emotional wreck. My cat, Leah, is like one of my childern. Plus, my dog, Daisy, is depressed without her friend and playmate.

I'm so worried, stressed, and emtional because I want my girl back again. I need to get back into planning mode, but all I want to do is look for my cat. I've been looking everyday after work in both neighborhoods, with no luck. Please send happy vibes and good thoughts that my Leah finds her way back to me.

I know how you are feeling! I have been having a very busy and emotional few weeks too. Things will get better!! I hope that your cat comes back soon! I know how it feels when a pet gets outside and they aren't an outdoor pet. I hope that you have a great weekend!

Oh! I am so sorry to hear that! Are you far from your old place? I would maybe try looking around there. Animals have this amazing sense of where they "belong" and she may have been feeling displaced.

I hope you find your cat. A few months ago, my cat somehow got out and went missing for three weeks. I know exactly what you're going through because I was also a wreck when my cat left...this cat follows me all around the house and sleeps cuddled up next to me. I eventually found her hiding underneath my neighbor's shed...it took a few days to coax her back in, but she came back! Just keep looking outside for her everyday and don't give up hope.

My moms cat escaped when she loved. They left some food in the garage and left the garage door cracked with some things she liked from our old house. She was there the next morning. How far is your new home from your apt? I'd mention to neighbors at both and give them your number and her description. She might to to find her way back home.

Thanls for the suggest :) Tried that last night and she came home, plus two other cats. She had a great adventure, a little skinny and dirty. I'm so happy to have her home

Aww yayyy!!! So happy that you got her back. Our pets are like our children so I can imagine the panic and heartbreak you must have felt without her.

So happy she came back! Having an emotional week too. My FI's grandmother just passed this morning and my aunt's divorce papers were signed yesterday. My unlce had been cheating on her for 20 years of 26. It's unfortunate I was driving out to Mandeville already this weekend for my wedding dress. To say the least plans have completely changed. I just hope I can keep my apt or they will be flexible enough to move my dress apt. Congrats again on finding your baby
