Hello
Originally our date was for April of '13 but as 90% of our friend and my family are still in school at that time AND we want a destination wedding we decided it would be better for us to have it in July during the summer, even though it'll probably be more expense. But I think it'll be worth it to have all the people we love there.
So a little about us...
My FI and I have been together since January of 2011. She proposed to me just yesterday on our 8 month anniversary. It was terrible I ruined almost any plan that she had for the proposal...I kept wanting to do other things and screwing it up >.< But she did finally manage to propose to me and I couldn't be happier! I am on cloud nine right now! I can't wait to start planning
Tentatively we've set the date for July 27th 2013 hoping that we have enought time to save up all the money that we need and that everything goes according to plan.
We live in Colorado currently but are planning a DW in Hawaii. We're planning on inviting about 80 guests but are only really expecting about 40-50 people to show up. We're going to be paying the travel and hotel expenses for all the guests we feel MUST be there (immediate family and BP), which is part of the reason we need to save up SO MUCH money.
Is anyone doing a DW here? How about any DIY? I can't wait to get to know you guys!
