Wedding Wednesday

Here's the place to share wedding AW's, checks, worries, dreams, etc. that you may not have already shared on the board. 

I'll start, with the dream I had last night. I pulled my dress out of it's garmet bag and my seamstress had made it 50's cocktail length because she thought it would look better. And, I hadn't shaved my legs so I had hairy legs sticking out of this crazy short dress. I woke up in a panic and nearly called my mom to make her go into her closet and check on my dress. lol

I'll share a few of my worries....

-That it's going to rain or be insanely hot on our wedding day....I will cry!
-That I'm going to wake up with a giant zit...lol
-That my FI's friends are going to get belligerent drunk or do drugs at our wedding. Have you seen the Sandra Bullock movie 28 Days? That's my nightmare for FI's best man.

I'm sure none of these things will happen, but ughh...what if they do!?

I'm worried about these:

-accidentally breaching etiquette and offending someone
- the day-of timetable, because it doesn't seem logistically possible for everything that's supposed to happen, to happen
-money

My worries are drama with my FSIL on the day of. We have a 2 year old, so I'm worried about him thinking we've left forever when we go on our honeymoon, if we find any room in our budget to book a honeymoon

Got our invitations today - cheeeck! In love with them

Worries: RAIN on the big day - although we have a back-up site for the ceremony, I'll be really bummed out if it's raining and we can't be on the beach!

 - My two dogs and cats will be home when we are away for the wedding and honeymoon...this kills me to do! My sister's best friend's sister (did you follow that??) is going to stay with them during the days we are away for the wedding, and my good friend owns a pet-sitting business, so she's living at our house while we are honeymooning. It still breaks my heart to leave my loves!

- I'm worried about money, too...but my FH insists that we'll have everything paid off by April...things keep adding on but he just keeps saying "yep, fine, we'll do it..." We just decided to add "open bar" for our guests the night before, at our beach bonfire. There's another $1,000-1,500 (as suggested by our coordinator)!!! It adds up sooo quickly!

- Tables - we are using very bold table linens so I'm hoping that it all looks great with the centerpieces, table number, and place settings...still haven't figured centerpieces out....or table numbers, ahh!

Wow....it actually feels good to get all of that out!!!

This exactly!! I will die if it rains. But I will be even more upset if FI's best man gets beligerent. A few months ago he announced that he has cleaned up his act and doesnt drink anymore however we our circle of friends has mentioned here and there that he's back to some of his old habits. I am PRAYING he is sober until after his speech.

My other worry is that I will not lose enough weight to fit into my shower dress. I just got it today and I look like a coral moose! :(

Edit: I also really want to fix my snaggle tooth but its not in the budget. Though I have said a few times I refuse to get married with a missing back tooth.

I'm actually not really worried about anything other then wanting everybody to enjoy themselves. I have been having dreams about the wedding. One being that on my wedding day NOTHING looked how I imagined it. I had on a crazy looking dress, ceremony site was a restaurant, groom and gm had on different color attire....it was a hot mess!

I worried about family drama happening. There are a lot of people on my mom's side that do mot like my dad. And there  is other family drama....I hope everyone leaves it home and remembers its my day.

I'm worried that we won't get it all done - I took on a big teaching position this past fall and have a lot going on!  No wedding dreams for me, thank goodness!  

My biggest worry - that my off-the-rack dress which fit perfectly in the waist when I bought, won't fit when I go to the fitting later this month.  I haven't gained any wait so a pretty irrational worry but still...I worry!
