Hey guys, I know its a little early to be deciding these things but I need some ideas for certain songs.. let me know what you think.

Just to let you know I am into pretty much anything but mostly Top 40 stuff.. and FI is into Rock.

Introduction Song:

Bridal Party

Bride & Groom

Bridal Party Dance (we are doing this instead of the mother/son and father/daughter...funny enough FI doesn't speak to his mom and I don't speak to my dad)

Anyway.... let me know what ideas you lovely ladies can think of!

Introduction song (like walking to the reception) :" Djs got us falling in love again".  We bought our daughter a dancing monkey for Vday and it played this song. She hated the monkey and would push it over everytime. It would cracks us up. She doesn't mind it now so we dance around to the song all the time now. 

Bride and Groom: A Daughtry song, I can't think of the name right now. 

Father Daughter: Brad Paisley's Didn't have to be. i am having my step dad walk me down the ailse, its the perfect song because he didn't have to be the father that he is to me. 

Not sure about the other ones yet.

As it stands, these are our "songs" for the reception:

Grand Entrance: "1,2,3" by Craig Smart
First Dance: "This Year's Love" by David Gray
Our choreographed routine is next - mix of LMFAO, Pitbull, Kesha, etc...

Father/Daughter Dance: "Have I Told You Lately" by Rod Stewart
Mother/Son (me and my son): "You Are My Sunshine" by Ray Charles

Dedication Song - Bride to Groom - "Forever" by Ben Harper
Dedication Song to our Guests: "These Are the Moments" by Edwin McCain

Last Song: "Glad You Came" by The Wanted


FI still needs to find a song for him and his mother and I need figure out which song we want for the cake cutting. I get choked up hearing these songs knowing how they will always have a special meaning to us

thats as far as I have gotten on music selection

I can only do standard Christian wedding songs at FI's church, so I'm not feeling very creative about those...

No too early to think! My DJ already sent me my "homework" assignment and I made a post like this a few weeks ago. This was my list: 

Parent's/grandparent's entrance: Katy Perry's Friday night (my mom's idea *sigh*)

Bridal Party entrance: No idea, gotta poll the group I think for this one

Bride/groom entrance: Sweet child of mine (our song)

First dance: Berlin's Take My Breath Away (everyone knows FI is a huge Top Gun fan so this will be pretty funny for our friends)

Father/daughter: Brown eyed girl

FI/FMIL: no clue

Cake cutting: Sugar, sugar by Archies

Bouquet toss: either "It's Raining Men" or "Girls just wanna have fun"

Garter removal: ???

Garter put back on: ??? 

Last song: ???
