Fabric Flower Bouquets

I have very little interest in flower arrangements and bouquets, to me personally, they are a waste of money. (not saying for everyone, just with my budget and interest level, they are not something I'm interested in spending money on) Originally I looked into making my own bouquets with wholesale flowers, but after spending waaay too much time on pinterest, I saw a few fabric bouquets that look pretty good. Plus, I can make them well in advance. Here is a link to one from etsy that I liked. I need to play around with the technique to get the flowers to look as realistic as possible.

Any tips from anyone who's made something like this? I was googling tutorials but none of them looked quite like this.

  • Oh gosh that bouquet is gorgeous!! I have absolutely no idea how to recreate - sorry :(I just wanted to share my view on flowers. Pretty? Of course. Practical? Not at all. lolI love them but I hate to throw that money away on flowers. That's why I'm doing frames for decor at the church and I'm doing very little flowers on the tables (more candles, feathers, etc...)A bouquet like you posted would be beautiful!

  • Jeez, that's freaking gorgeous!

If you decide not to DIY, it might not be too bad to just buy that one on Etsy -- at least it doesn't die the next day and you can save or sell it! Then again I love the details of a DIY wedding but have zero patience for those sort of projects myself!
