A little back story:
FI ordered ring off the internet without doing much research on the company. Turns out it was a fly by night place. The 14k white gold was nothing more than silver. It turned my finger green and we returned it for a full refund with little arguement from the company. Which was good b/c I was prepared for a full on war.
After that incident, I wanted moissanite not a diamond. I actually wanted a moissanite all along, but FI took some convincing. We did a lot of research and ordered a custom ring yesterday.
Now, I'm second guessing my choice. This is the ring we picked:
But I wanted the side stones to be yellow canary moissanite. They apparently can't make yellow moissanite that small. So they went with natural canary diamonds. To me that almost defeats the purpose of going with moissanite. I'm also concerned maybe yellow was the wrong color choice like it will make the moissanite look more yellow?
Am I being totally irrational? Should I cancel the order?/
