Not forgetting this time! Hahaha!

Alright, so I am TOTALLY slacking on all this working out stuff this week BUT for those who are following my posts the good news is the pain is going away so I should be able to get back to my normal routine VERY soon!!!!

How did everyone do yesterday? Any new goals to report?
I am buying a new measuring tape if I don't find mine tonight lol I need to know if I've hit my goal yet!!!!

  • I skipped the gym yesterday in favor of walking outside. I did about 7 miles total for the day between work and my walk so it was worth it. 

    I need to get a tape measurer this weekend. I lose them very easily for some reason so I should probably get 2.

    I'm glad your pain is subsiding!

    Last night I actually did something!  lol.  I lifted and did abs.  I'm still nervous about getting back into the cardio routine because of my foot but once I buy some new shoes this weekend I will start off easy with a 5K and progress back up again.

    I've been eating ok-ish.  I think once I hone that in and get back into a normal running routine I will finally have some workout success!

  • The scale is stuck and I'm retaining water says the measuring tape.

    I'm starting Chalean Extreme again once I can breath.  I hope on Monday, I've restarted it so many times because I keep getting sick!

    I completed my second run for my half marathon training last night.  Tomorrow is my first "long" run of just 4 miles.  I love this program and how it's easing me into it slowly.

    I gained weight this week :(  But I'm hoping that's just muscle replacing fat.

    I was going to start P90X in the middle of March, but after reevaluating, I decided that the hour + workouts AND half marathon training AND being a very active preschool teacher was just too much.  I order Jillian Michaels' Body Revolution last night and am going to start that when it comes in.  I'm hoping that the half hour workouts are more manageable than P90X's hour plus workouts.  Plus I love Jillian and her workouts are always great.  Anyone else heard of BR or doing it??
  • It's spin day and this week I've lured a couple coworkers to come with me :)
    We are supposed to get some beautiful temperatures (much warmer than usual this time of year) so I'd like to get out for a run next week. I'll soon be transitioning from spinning to running again ;)

    Are you doing Hal's program?  I followed his and loved it but I always end up switching everything up.  It's a great program!
  • So far, so good!  I had a nice lunch and FI and I will be working out in a bit when he gets home.  I'm one work out behind this week, but I can make it up this weekend.

    I tried on my dress Wendesday and it fit a million times better than it did in January.  It is nice to know/see there is progress even if the scale isn't moving much/my normal clothes appear to fit the same!!!
