... I love this board! It seems super positive with people offering good advice and not being complete a-holes to people who misspell words or are making etiquette "mistakes."

I've been shocked by all the people on other boards who are so rude and quite the anti-lovely, blushing brides! Sad I didn't discover this board earlier

Amen to that!!! I have stopped venturing out to other boards as much because I just love this one so much! It's become my "home board."

Agreed, I have to do my best to stay away from the other boards... at first sometimes reading the posts interesting but now I just get so angry with how uptight/one sided they can be..... and its always the same response... over and over.....

Totally agree... the ladies on Sept 2012 are the BEST!!! We should all here to support each other, not to belittle or poke fun of some one.

I agree  !!   Although, I do have to say... it does bug me when people use "isle" instead of "aisle".  One is a vacation destination... the other is a walkway of some sort.  That is probably the only spelling/grammar error that bugs me.   But, I don't jump all over anyone for it, like the people on the other boards do.

I couldn't agree more!  I love all the ladies on here and am never afraid to post like I am on other boards.  Thanks to everyone for being so supportive and friendly :-)

Definitely! And yeah, certainly none of use want another September bride to make an etiquette mistake or do something that would be rude just because they didn't know about it. BUT, there's a nice way to gently tell someone that it's a really, really bad idea and not have a pile up about how horrible the bride is like on the etiquette board.

I agree!  I loved the advice I got for my invites!  It was stuff I didn't even think of and other people caught it!

I honestly don't even go on other boards. I don't need the stress or drama or negativity. This place is fabulous (and the FB group rocks!)

I couldn't agree more. I was SHOCKED when I first joined TK at how downright mean some people are. I moderated a very large forum for years, and never would I, or any other mod, have tolerated such comments. There are a few people on TK who have spewed what they believe is "right" and everyone else just recites what they say. I always said the motto of this whole place should be "if you are the bride, you are always wrong. No matter what." I asked a question about my FI having his dad as a GM and one person told me if I didn't let him do it, that made me a selfish woman who is doomed for divorce. Wow, thanks.

I'm so glad I found you girls and that so many others are doing the same!
